Trauma does not stay neatly separated from our careers. Experiences such as loss, violence, discrimination, economic uncertainty, and workplace disruption can shape how individuals view themselves, their work, and their futures. Yet, career development continues with individuals expected to make decisions, adapt, and move forward even when their sense of safety, identity, or direction has been disrupted.
